Welcome to One Mound
This property is in Kenwood, a charming, unincorporated wine country village along Sonoma Highway (State Route 12) between Santa Rosa and Sonoma. Nestled in the Sonoma Valley AVA, also known as the “Valley of the Moon,” Kenwood is celebrated for its vineyards, wineries, and restaurants. It’s full of small-town charm, with a “California-mild” climate and beautiful weather most of the year. We feel lucky to live in such a magical place and love sharing it with family and friends.
Mound Avenue is technically a county road, though it’s just over 100 yards long and serves only our property. Thanks to nearby Sonoma Creek, wildlife is abundant here. A camera set about 12 feet down the bank captures the local mountain lions, along with many other visitors—both human and wild. Take a look at these photos to see more of our property.
